WE #6 - Communication

The meaning of communication to me means a verbal or nonverbal communication between two or more people. Communication is very necessary because it help bring unity, understanding, and success within a group of people or a business. Without communication things will be more difficult to work through and bring about turmoil in a business. I can improve with communicating better with suggestions and ideas that I have that could possibly help in some or many ways.

Dealing With Life's Struggles

I chose this video because I think it would be a inspiration to those that deal with real life struggles. This dance was performed at my church and was coordinated by my husband, DeAndre Calloway, and the main dancer/ homeless person is my sister Shuntel Demps.  The people in this dance are acting as people in a busy town commuting to work and different destinations.  The homeless person is going to break free from struggle depending and trusting in God to see her through life struggles.

WE#4- Teamwork

I think teamwork means a group of people working together to accomplish a task or goal.  Teamwork works different for different companies but with the help of other team mates it helps the company gain, higher productivity, satisfied boss, satisfied customers or clients. In order for teamwork to be effective it takes cooperation and the willingness to listen and learn from others.  I can improve when it comes to teamwork by not being so ready to accomplish something without waiting or allowing my team mates help or give suggestions.

Social Media Lawsuit

I read a article titled "Lawsuit Targets Facebook" at http://communications-media.lawyers.com/privacy-law/lawsuit-target-facebook-privacy-issues.html.
This article discusses the lawsuit that was made against Facebook about their privacy guidelines.  The plaintiff complaint was that Facebook didn't do much to protect their privacy.  The plaintiff's  personal information and photos was shared with other people without their consent.  Facebook wasn't thorough enough with letting the user know how exactly they use their personal information.  10 days after the lawsuit Facebook improved protecting privacy and giving users more control over their personal information.

WE #3- Respect

My personal meaning of respect is the reverence of another's authority, opinion, point of view, beliefs, or as a person.  I know that I can improve by respecting other's point of view of things.  I have a tendency that when I am angry about something I tend to not receive or respect what another person is saying or meaning. I would rather be heard and I only listen to respond.

Project 4.5.1

The distinction between a file and a folder is that a file stores data and a folder stores files.  Files stores different things like pictures, music, and projects.  Files can be visually represented by icons and file names stored in the computer.  Folders is kind of like a organizer or storage bin.  Folders don't take up as much space as files would on a computer.  Most folders are visually represented by pictures icons that look like an actual folder.
